The Espirito Santo region is dominated by small-scale coffee producers who are very quality- conscious. One of these producers is Sergio Daniel Peterle, who inherited his mother in law's farm, now called Sitio Peterle. At first he produced coffee in the traditional way, but in 2007 he sold his first ten bags of specialty coffee - at a higher price thanks to the quality. These days, he sees this as the way forward, and today he produces 130 bags of specialty coffee. This is a great coffee that works as the morning cup as well as with your cinnamon bun or after dinner.
