250 grams of whole roasted coffee beans.
Yirgacheffe, in southern Ethiopia, is a region that produces a lot of coffee. There is a village here called Banko Gotiti and in that village a cooperative holding the same name. The cooperative was founded in 2012 and has 300 members. The cultivation of coffee here takes place in a traditional Ethiopian way, where each family has a smaller amount of coffee trees and then brings their coffee cherries to the washing station owned by the cooperative. Coffee plays an incredibly large role in Ethiopian culture and half of the 6.5 million bags produces annually are consumed within the country.
