3 x 250 grams of whole roasted coffee beans, packed in a gift box with information on each coffee.
Here we present to you our roasters choice of coffee – three very different coffees. We want to show you a world of different flavors, and this is why we choose these specific coffees:
Costa Rica - Luis Anastasio Castro
We've had the pleassure of both buying from multiple harvests and varieties from Luis aka "Don Tacho", and also visiting his farm and micromill in Juanachute, so we're well aware of how amazing their coffee is and how they make it taste so good. One thing that is unchanged in his production is that he consistently manages to produce 10/10 coffee each season! This Honey offers a lot of sweetness as well as an intense fresh and crispy mouthfeel. Our impressions are butterscotch, apples and green pear. An absolute pleassure of a cup!
Colombia - Maricela Penagos
Our teams favorite of the moment! What a cup! The producer behind this coffee? Maricela, a first-generation coffee grower, works with 2 permanent employees and 12 seasonal pickers. As a member of Coocentral, she seeks to invest in improving the farm, upgrading the processing facility, and acquiring fertilizers to enhance production.
Ethiopia – Benti Nenka
With a little luck and quick decion-making we managed to secure this lot from the Benti Nenka processing station in Guji, Ethiopia. Being the second time we purchase coffee from this cooperative, we're thrilled to find out that it's as consistent and offers the same amazing flavour profile as last season. We find it unique in the sense of its' complexity, as it doesn't taste like your regular Natural Ethiopian, but pushes towards a Washed type of florality and brightness. At the same time the coffee also offers a lot of tropical fruits + a citric freshness. Simply outstading!
