Whether you have your own espresso machine or if you are curious about how to make a perfect espresso or work as a barista, then this is the course for you. Through a clear and approachable pedagogy we will give you all the tools you need to make your perfect espresso, with any coffee or equipment.
The class is held at our roastery by Daniel Nemeth, our eminent roaster and barista who placed 4th of the Swedish Latte Art Championship 2018 and 2nd of the Swedish Cuptasters Championship 2019.
What to expect from this Masterclass:
We start the course with theory, what distinguishes espresso as a brewing method and what it takes to make a good espresso. After that we continue with a short espresso tasting where we focus on the tastes and flavors of espresso and how we evaluate them. Then, after giving you a clear set of tools to affect the taste of espresso, we move to the machine and learn how to create your perfect espresso. We finish by teaching you how to make the perfect milk for your cappuccinos and lattes.
Time and location:
The Espresso Masterclass is held on Sundays between 12.00 - 15.00 at one of our cafes, on Lindholmsallén 8A in Gothenburg, with a minimum/maximum of four participants per class. With fewer registered participants the course will be rescheduled. The class is held in Swedish, or English based on preference.
After the class, you will be given the opportunity to buy coffee to take home with a 20% discount.
