This coffee comes from the Gogogu washing station in the Kofee district of Guji, Ethiopia — a region where coffee has been grown for generations. Guji's coffee is grown at high altitudes in rich red highland soil, giving it a distinct profile.
Over 700 smallholder farmers, each tending around 2 hectares, deliver ripe coffee cherries from within 5km of the mill. Cherries are depulped same-day, fermented 8–12 hours, washed, then dried on raised beds for 5–15 days.
