Israel Degfa owns 26 washing stations and a farm in southern and southwestern Ethiopia. We have been buying coffee from Israel for a few years now and appreciate the quality he creates through investment and the education he offers the growers he works with. He also invests in the local school in nearby Kilenso Mokonesa. Egu Abaya is a washing station that processes both naturals and washed coffee. The altitude is high which makes the climate cooler and therefor the maturation, fermentation and drying takes longer.
